Our latest update yet!

Readers, oh most patient readers. We know we've treated you wrong. We left you hanging last week, starving for an update. We sincerely hope this isn't too little, too late. And in our slight efforts to apologize, we're giving you a double update. So, from the very bottom of our collective heart, we are sorry.

Hope you enjoy!

Oops, we took a break.

Hey folks, sorry for the super late post. Things have been kinda crazy around here with the start of the Holiday season. I promise a new comic to you soon. But in the interim I wanted to talk to you about something. If you're like me (a scary thought but bear with me) you grew up playing and loving Sonic the Hedgehog. Those games were SWEET! Fast, fun, challenging and beautifully designed. If you're like me you stuck it out through the not so great times (cough 3D blast cough) and were rewarded with some really fun games for your loyalty (i.e. Sonic Adventure 1 & 2) but even the most hardcore sonic fan, by which I mean the real long term fans not these new fanboys and fangirls drawing their crappy fan-characters (loosely veiled furry porn), anyway the real fans must admit Sonic has been in a bit of a slump lately. Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic and the Black Knight . . . these games punched my fanhood in the kidneys but there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Project Needlemouse! Finally after what seemed like decades Sonic 4 was going to be released. I was so excited I damn near wet myself. I couldn't wait for the fast-paced multi-tiered level exploration. I predicted a triumphant return to 2D side-scrolling for Sonic. Then it was released. I could see what the game was trying to be, see it's potential but it was, at best, a misfire. I won't go into everything I thought could have been improved because I am happy to say that Sega is addressing it. Let it not be said that they are a company who is deaf to the cries of their fanbase. Don't believe me? Check this out http://www.sonicstadium.org/articles/2010/11/the-sonic-show-56-live-from-sega-of-america/ So that's pretty sweet. A gathering of truly passionate Sonic fans voicing their concerns and ACTUALLY being listened to. But also there's more good news, two new games that I am excited to play and have received rave reviews. I speak of course of Sonic Free Riders for the Xbox Kinect and Sonic Colours for the Wii. Sonic Free Riders is THE ONLY game I am interested in playing for the Kinect and Sonic Colours has me wetting myself! http://www.youtube.com/user/SegaAmerica?v=iADRc4n0PJ8&feature=pyv&ad=6348050153&kw=sonic%20free%20riders
